Burglary in Chelveston Road Stanwick Allotments

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information about a burglary at a shed on the Allotments on Chelveston Road. The burglary happened on Sunday 21st from 11pm and Monday the 22nd 7am.

The offender or offenders forced entry to the shed and stole items. .

Business burglary

Ensure your premises are alarmed. If you are in a remote location, your alarm should be remotely monitored and any confirmed activations forwarded directly to police for response.

Make sure your premises has good lighting covering access points and dark or hidden areas

Invest in CCTV to deter and detect crime

Retailers should leave their tills empty overnight with till drawer left open to avoid any damage

Valuable items should be stored within a securely locked cupboard/cage within the building
